Premium origin needs specialist distribution before it can become export value

On October 21, Quality Meat Scotland recognised four European businesses for their continued work with Scotch Beef and Scotch Lamb at SIAL Paris 2026. Ipekci Slachterij BV, Eurodis Viandes, Metzger Frères and MAG Restauration received the awards. This is not a technological innovation, but it offers a useful signal about how value from geographically identified meat is sustained in mature export markets.
